I’m a big believer in the role of HOME in a family’s story, which is why it’s so fitting we make a record of love and connection in the very place you and your littles first fell in love.

There are so many Geelong, Ballarat, and Melbourne folk who only want a pretty picture.
My families are a little different: they’re in love with the simple, honest beauty of every day life, and they want THAT in a photo: the way it FELT - not just how they looked.
These families are bringing home newborns and raising kids, and want an experience that’s as low key and connected as they are -
something less about matching outfits and smiling nicely, and more about catching their beautiful ordinary life honestly.

From moment to memories.
Our sweet and much-anticipated time together will come and go (as all good things tend to do), then a couple weeks later, I’ll send you a stunning gallery featuring your family doing what you do best: laughing, playing, and showering each other with clumsy, real life love.
You’ll see your kids’ firecracker sass & sparkle, and your fierce, tender love for them perfectly preserved in meaningful family portraits, and you’ll probably cry just a little bit (happy tears, I promise!).
You’ll select the ones you love the most, and they will be yours to keep forever; a tangible keepsake of a moment in time.
These photos will become an artful record of the reason and meaning of everything: love, belonging, connection, and the armful of ragtag kids who drive you crazy in the best way.

In-home photography sessions are relaxed and family-led.
I’ll come around, and we'll spend an easy couple of hours together.
It’s a beautiful opportunity for you to slow down and completely *be* with one another. All the while I’ll gently guide you, creating a space in which you’re able to organically show your beautiful, easy love.
By the time I say goodbye, we’ll have made an irreplaceable archive of how it felt in those hazy days of bringing home baby, or what it’s like to have a bunch of wildlings bouncing off the walls: the current chapter of your most sacred lifelong love story.

It was really important for us to capture newborn photos of our baby girl Scarlet; we wanted to have lasting memories of this precious time. After doing some research, I knew Michelle was right for us; she ticked all the boxes with her in-home, natural and beautiful style - nothing looked staged, and she could make any moment frame worthy.
Our session felt relaxed and comfortable.
Michelle was lovely, and took the time to get incredible shots at our baby’s pace.
I was over the moon with the end result. Michelle captured our baby beautifully - I couldn’t have asked for more. We’ll treasure our photos and wall art forever.
For us the investment was absolutely worth it, and I cannot wait to have another session when Scarlett is a little older!

The arrival of freshly squishable newborns has a tendency to be rather unpredictable. As a family portrait photographer here in Geelong (and also servicing Ballarat + Melbourne!), I love to offer my clients my whole self, with all the happy hand-holding and help along the way.
For this reason I take a limited number of newborns monthly, and these typically fill up a few months in advance.
I’d recommend reaching out at your soonest convenience so we can get you on the calendar nice and early bird! 🐦
