Little bits of *reel* to help bring that new love of yours to life.

I’ve recently begun experimenting with reels on Insta, and I’m discovering they’re a great way to create a feel for what an in-home newborn photography session really feels like, for those who are curious.

I’ll be honest, it took me a second to accept the challenge of this new medium, but if they help connect you even a little to the spirit of having me come visit your family at home, I’m all for it - I mean, who isn’t broken open by sweet new baby goodness and organic expressions of love, set to sentimental tunes..?

Perhaps the coolest thing, I’ve even begun to grab little snippets of video in real time while I’m with you - tiny wisps of the everyday magic I’m witnessing while I watch you with your sweethearts - and I’ve been adding them to my reel of your story; a simple way to show the Geelong and Bellarine mamas and daddies the startling beauty of the love story you’re commencing with your littlest love.

I’m quickly falling in love with this new way of documenting your darling’s precious little yawns, stretches, and furrowed brows.

You want nostalgic, artful, natural photographs of your family..? We can absolutely do that.

But little snatches of video, too..? That’s quickly becoming the icing on the cake.

If you’re an expectant mama in Geelong or the wider Bellarine region (or Ballarat or Melbourne!), or you know someone who is, don’t hesitate to reach out and say hello! I’m a wealth of knowledge when it comes to all things baby, and I’d love to connect! x
